Independent Examination of Accounts
Every year many small charities and community groups are losing hundreds of pounds by having their accounts prepared and audited by chartered accountants, when in reality their statutory obligation only requires them to have an Independent Examination carried out.
We can prepare and examine accounts for both unincorporated associations and registered charities up to an income threshold of £100k.
Furthermore, as third sector specialists, we will also be happy to work with your Treasurer to ensure you have all of the necessary processes and procedures in place to ensure a smooth examination.

Board Support
Good goverance is the cornerstone of effective third sector organisations. A competent and confident Treasurer will go a long way to ensuring your statutory obligations are met. Unfortunately, high quality training for new Treasurers can often be hard to come by. We can support your new Treasurer through their first few Trustees’ meetings, listening to their concerns and providing guidance where appropriate.
